การศึกษาภาวะสุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาวะสุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี และเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลกับภาระสุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี จำนวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบทดสอบดัชนีชี้วัดสุขภาพจิตคนไทย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สุขภาพจิตของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี โดยรวมเท่ากับคนทั่วไป แต่เพศหญิงจะมีสุขภาพจิตต่ำกว่า เพศชาย นักศึกษาที่อยู่กับพ่อแม่มีภาวะสุขภาพจิตต่ำกว่าคนทั่วไปมากที่สุดในขณะที่นักศึกษาที่อยู่หอพักจะมีสุขภาพจิตดีกว่าคนทั่วไปมากที่สุด นักศึกษาคณะคหกรรมศาสตร์มีภาวะสุขภาพจิตต่ำกว่าคนทั่วไปมากที่สุด อาการหรือพฤติกรรมที่นักศึกษาแสดงออกมาบ่อย ได้แก่ ภาวะสุขภาพจิตที่ว่าตัวเองเป็นโรคเรื้อรังต้องไปรับการรักษาเสมอๆ

The purpose of this research is to study the mental health conditions of the students at the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTI) in relation to their personal background and mental health status. Data were collected from 400 RMUTI students, using the test of Thai Mental Health Department, Ministry of Public Health and then analyzed by SPSS program. It was found that the overall mental health conditions of the students were the same as the people's in general. However, female students' health conditions were worse than the male's. Those who lived with their parents reflected the worst while those living in the dormitory reflected the best. Within RMUTT, students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts were found to have best mental health conditions while that of the Home Economics students was worst. The frequent symptom found was that the students believed they suffered some kinds of chronic diseases and needed regular treatments.
